ECGB joined the global celebration of Nelson Mandela International Day by uplifting the community of Stutterheim through a vibrant painting and mural project at Nonyameko Primary School.
Mandela Day is about taking action and making a difference. By painting the school and adding a mural, we aimed to create a space that not only looks better but also feels better for the learners. This initiative forms part of ECGB’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme, which focuses on education and community empowerment.
As part of its 67 minutes, ECGB purchased painting material and dedicated the day to beautifying the school. painted classrooms while also creating a colourful mural that carries an inspiring message for learners. The mural was designed to promote positivity, creativity, and pride in the school environment also bringing smiles to both learners and educators and the community at large.
